Mode of Selection
Stage I: Preliminary Examination
Objective Type Test (500 Marks: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude (200) + Discipline Specific (300)).
Stage II: Main Examination
Conventional/Descriptive Type Test (600 Marks: Two Discipline Specific papers of 300 marks each).
Stage III: Personality Test
Interview/Personality Test (200 Marks) for candidates who qualify the Mains Exam.

Instruction (How To Apply Online Form)
Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)
All candidates must first register on the UPSC OTR portal to generate a unique OTR profile.
Step 2: Fill Online Application (Part I)
Log in to the UPSC online portal and complete Part I of the application, which includes authentication via OTR, filling educational details, and choosing the exam center.
Step 3: Complete Application (Part II)
Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID etc.).
Step 4: Pay Fee
Pay the application fee online or via generated SBI Challan, if applicable.
Step 5: Review, Final Submission, and Print
Review the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
