Calculate AgeMinimum: 21 Years | Maximum: 32 Years. Candidates must have been born between 02 Aug 1994 and 01 Aug 2005 (both inclusive).
Number of Attempts
General/EWS: 6 | OBC: 9 | SC/ST: Unlimited (up to age limit) | PwBD: 9 (for GL/EWS/OBC).
Academic Qualification
Graduation degree from a recognized Indian University or equivalent.

Method of Recruitment
- 1. Preliminary Examination (Objective)
- 2. Main Written Examination (Descriptive)
- 3. Personality Test (Interview).
Prelims Pattern
Two papers (GS Paper-I and CSAT) of 200 marks each. CSAT is qualifying (33% required). Negative marking of 1/3rd applies.

Focus on clearing each stage one at a time. Prepare specifically for each round by understanding its format and requirements.
STEPS TO APPLY ONLINE
Complete OTR
Visit upsconline.nic.in and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered.
Fill Part-I
Provide basic details, select examination center, and pay the fee (if applicable).
Fill Part-II
Upload your photograph, signature, and photo ID card image in JPG format.
Submit & Print
Verify all details, select the declaration, and submit the final form. Save the application slip for the Prelims admit card.
