Minimum Qualification

Graduation Degree (with 50% for General/OBC/Other State; 45% for SC/ST/PH).

Age Limit (as of 01-07-2025)

Minimum 18 years; Maximum 35 years (40 for OBC/SC/ST, 50 for PH).

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION & DV

Scanned Photo & Signature

Passport Size Photograph (10KB–50KB) and Signature (5KB–20KB).

Academic Merit Proofs

Original Mark Sheets and Certificates for Class 10th, 12th, and Graduation.

Category/Domicile

Domicile Certificate (for UP residents), Caste Certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS), and PH Certificate (if applicable).

Verification Documents

Aadhaar Card/Photo ID, Transfer Certificate (TC), and Character Certificate (required during DV).

SELECTION & COUNSELLING PROCESS

Selection Mode

Merit List based on the total percentage of marks obtained in 10th, 12th, and Graduation (Academic Score Index).

Step 1: Application & Fee Payment

Complete the online registration (Part 1), pay the application fee, and fill the detailed form (Part 2) before the respective deadlines.

Step 2: State Merit Rank Publication

The authority publishes the State Rank and merit list on the official portal (Dec 23, 2025).

Step 3: Online Choice Filling

Candidates are called in phases based on their rank to log in and select their preferred District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) or Private Colleges.

Step 4: Seat Allotment & DV

Seat allotment is done by NIC, Lucknow. Candidates download the allotment letter and report to the allotted institute with all original documents for verification and final fee deposit.
