10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed with **Science & Mathematics** as subjects OR possession of a **National Trade Certificate (NTC)** in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
Professional Attainments (Skill Tests)
Test of English word processing speed of **1000 key depressions in 15 minutes** and basic computer function knowledge (MS Office, printing, etc.)

Mode of Selection
Stage 1: Written Exam (CBT)
Computer-Based Examination (100 Marks, 90 minutes). No negative marking.
Stage 2: Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)
Qualifying in nature (includes running, long jump, high jump, height, and chest measurements).
Stage 3: Trade Test & Computer Proficiency Test
Qualifying tests for Reading & Dictation, English Word Processing Speed, and Basic Computer Functions (MS Office).
Stage 4: Document Verification (DV)
Verification of eligibility documents.

Candidates must first register on the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) to obtain their OTR number, if not already done.
Step 2: Login and Apply
Log in to the SSC portal and click on the 'Apply' link for the Head Constable (AWO/TPO) Examination.
Step 3: Fill Application Form
Fill in the application with required personal, educational, and communication details.
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload scanned signature and a live photograph (as per SSC specifications).
Step 5: Pay Fee
Pay the application fee online (Rs. 100/- for applicable categories) by the fee payment deadline.
Step 6: Submit and Print
Submit the final application form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
