Stage 1

Selection Method

  • Purely merit-based
  • determined by **Class 10th marks** and the candidate's **College/Stream Preferences** submitted in the Common Application Form (CAF).

Stage 2

Merit List Rounds

Three centralized merit lists were published. Candidates selected must download their Intimation Letter and report to the allotted college for verification and admission.

Stage 3

Slide-Up Option

  • Candidates dissatisfied with the college allotted in the first two rounds could choose the 'Slide-Up' option to seek admission in a higher preference college/stream
  • without forfeiting their current seat.

Stage 4

Spot Admission

Conducted for remaining vacant seats after the 3rd Merit List. Eligible candidates (those not selected in previous rounds or new applicants) apply directly to colleges based on seat availability.

Aadhaar Card, Recent Passport-size Photographs (scanned for online form), School Leaving/Transfer Certificate (T.C.).

STEPS TO APPLY (COMMON APPLICATION FORM - CAF)

Step 1: Visit Portal and Registration

Visit the official OFSS website (ofssbihar.net) and click the registration link. Fill in basic details (Roll Code, Roll Number, Name, Mobile, Email) and agree to the instructions.

Step 2: Fill CAF and Upload Documents

Log in with the generated credentials. Fill the CAF by providing personal and academic details (Class 10 marks). Upload scanned Photograph and pay the ₹350 application fee.

Step 3: Select College Preferences

Select the stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture) and choose a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 20 schools/colleges in order of preference.

Step 4: Final Submission and Printout

Review all details, submit the form, and print the confirmation page and fee receipt. Keep the application number for merit list checks.
