APPLICATION FEE & REFUND POLICY
S/E Grade 'SD'
No Application Fee.
S/E Grade 'SC'
₹750 (Paid initially by all candidates).
Full Refund
Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen will receive a full refund of ₹750 after appearing in the written test.
Partial Refund
Other candidates will receive a refund of ₹500 (₹250 retained as processing fee) after appearing in the written test.
Ensure you pay the correct fee for your category before the deadline!
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Your complete selection journey at a glance
For Grade 'SD' (Post 01-03)
Initial screening of online applications followed by a direct Personal Interview. Final selection is based 100% on interview performance.
For Grade 'SC' (Post 04-16)
Two-level process: Written Test followed by a Personal Interview (1:5 ratio). Final panel is based on 50% weightage to Written Test and 50% to Interview marks.
Written Test Structure
- Part-A: Area-Specific MCQs
- Part-B: Aptitude MCQs
- Part-C: Descriptive technical questions (for M.Tech posts only).
Tie-Breaking Rules
- In order of priority: 1. Written Test marks
- 2. Essential Qualification marks
- 3. Date of Birth (Older candidates preferred).
Preparation Tip
Focus on clearing each stage one at a time. Prepare specifically for each round by understanding its format and requirements.
STEPS TO APPLY ONLINE
Live Register
Register or update your details on the ISRO Live Register portal at www.isro.gov.in (Careers tab) by 12 Feb 2026.
SAC Portal
Visit careers.sac.gov.in and login to complete the SAC-specific application for the desired post code.
Uploads
Upload your photo (max 1MB, 500x500 px), signature (max 1MB, 700x200 px), and certificates (PDF, max 1MB).
Payment
Proceed to the Bharatkosh portal to pay the application fee (for SC grade) and submit. Note your Registration Number.
