ELIGIBILITY & AGE LIMIT
Age Limit (As on 16-03-2026)
Calculate AgeMinimum: 18 Years | Maximum: 30 Years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 10-15 years for PwD candidates as per Govt. norms.
Experience Requirement (For GNM Only)
2 years' experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the Diploma is mandatory. This experience is NOT required for B.Sc. candidates.

SELECTION PHASES RECAP
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Your complete selection journey at a glance
Stage I: NORCET Preliminary
Qualifying exam only. Used for shortlisting candidates for Stage II. Marks will not be used for final merit.
Stage II: NORCET Main
Final selection is based on the performance in Stage II. Merit list will be prepared AIIMS-wise based on choice filling.
Marking & Penalty
Duration: 90 Minutes (Stage I) / 180 Minutes (Stage II). Negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
Preparation Tip
Focus on clearing each stage one at a time. Prepare specifically for each round by understanding its format and requirements.
STEPS TO APPLY ONLINE
Official Portal
Visit aiimsexams.ac.in and click on the 'Recruitment' tab, then select 'Nursing Officer'.
New Registration
Complete the 'Registration' using your valid email and mobile number to generate your Candidate ID and Password.
Upload Documents
Upload your photograph (white background), signature, and left thumb impression as per specified dimensions.
Fee & Final Submit
Pay the application fee online and download the final registration slip. Retain this for Stage I and Stage II exams.
